A nurse has been filmed warning of delays of greater than seven-and-a-half hours to see a physician at an accident and emergency division.

Footage was posted on Twitter displaying the nurse addressing sufferers at Princess Alexandra Hospital, in Harlow, Essex, on Monday night time.

Gary Sitton, whose son-in-law visited A&E after being concerned in a highway crash, stated the video confirmed “our NHS on its knees”.

Stephanie Lawton, chief working officer at The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Belief, stated: “We’re at the moment experiencing extraordinarily excessive demand for our emergency care companies and have seen a big improve in attendances in our emergency division.
